About This Menopause Qualification
The purpose of this Menopause CPD course is to give personal trainers a foundational understanding of menopause. This includes key terminology, the different stages of menopause, common symptoms, and the physiological changes that may affect a client’s wellbeing and training performance.
The course supports learners in developing practical, menopause-informed coaching strategies. This includes exercise programming considerations, lifestyle and nutritional guidance within a personal trainer’s scope of practice, and effective professional communication approaches to support clients during this transition.
Assessment is completed through a multiple-choice test and a case study.

Menopause Course Structure
Module One: Introduction to Menopause
Learners will explore menopause terminology and definitions, the stages of menopause, and the most common symptoms clients may experience. This module also looks at how menopause may present within a fitness environment and what fitness professionals may notice when working with clients during this transition.
Module Two: Understanding the Physiological Changes of Menopause
This module introduces the endocrine system and the key hormones involved in menopause-related changes. Learners will gain an understanding of how hormonal shifts can influence both physical and mental wellbeing, including mood. It also explores menopause-related changes to bone density, muscle mass, metabolism and wider health considerations.
Module Three: Exercise Programming for Menopausal Clients
Learners will examine exercise programming principles and training considerations for menopausal clients. This includes exercise selection and programme adaptations that can support symptom management, alongside practical approaches for maintaining progress while prioritising safety and appropriate coaching.
Module Four: Lifestyle and Nutritional Guidance for Menopause Management
This module focuses on lifestyle and nutritional strategies that may support clients experiencing menopause. Learners will explore the role of exercise, sleep, stress management and daily activity, as well as how menopause can influence emotional wellbeing, memory and focus. All guidance is considered within the scope of practice of a personal trainer.
Module Five: Effective Support Strategies for Personal Trainers
The final module focuses on communication and client support strategies to help personal trainers work confidently and professionally with menopausal clients. Learners will explore ways to build supportive, empathetic relationships that encourage trust, promote mental wellbeing and improve long-term exercise adherence.

The Level 3 Menopause Practitioner course includes the same module, with three additional modules. With this menopause course, you will have the knowledge to plan exercise sessions and use these as a tool to help improve your client's health and wellbeing.
The Level 3 Menopause Practitioner qualification has been designed for fitness professionals who want to develop a better understanding of the menopause so they can use exercise as a tool to help clients in this phase of their life. To sign up to this course, you must hold a level 2 gym instructor or level 3 personal trainer or mat pilates instructor qualification.
Yes! Both menopause courses are REPs UAE endorsed and you will receive REPs UAE points upon completion.
Both courses have been designed for people who are interested in learning more about the menopause, either for their own benefit or the benefit of others. As a menopause practitioner, you can then help clients by offering nutritional advice and designing exercise programmes specifically tailored to improve their menopause symptoms.
The Level 3 Menopause Practitioner qualification has specifically been created for fitness professional who want to understand more so that they can help clients. In terms of planning effective training sessions and offering evidence based lifestyle advice to help women stay strong and health during this period.
In order to qualify as a Menopause Practitioner you must complete the The Level 3 Menopause Practitioner qualification and pass the optional unit 'Plan, deliver and evaluate an exercise session'.
